This full-day Cape Town township and Winelands tour offers a powerful contrast between the vibrant energy of the townships and the scenic beauty of the Cape Winelands. Over 8.5 hours, you'll explore Langa, the city's oldest township, on a guided walk with visits to local families and insights into township life. You'll then pass through Coloured residential areas and visit Khayelitsha—South Africa’s second-largest township—where you'll stop at a kindergarten or social project (weekdays only). The tour continues to Stellenbosch for a city walk or a visit to Franschhoek, followed by a relaxing wine and cheese tasting in Paarl before returning to your accommodation.

Township tour rates include:
- Transport from and to your accommodation in Cape Town (CBD) and an English-speaking tour guide who will also be your driver
- Fees for the local township guide and donations for the families visited and projects supported by us

Meeting point for the tour:
For all English guided tours you will be fetched at your accommodation in Cape Town (CBD) and taken back there at the end of the tour.
All German guided tours start and end at our guesthouse in Milnerton, with confirmation of your booking you will receive directions how to get here.
If you don’t have a rental car, your accommodation will gladly organize a transfer for you at an additional charge.
